Bluewater Lakes is the perfect location for your French carp fishing holiday. Set in the stunning Champagne-Ardennes region of France, Bluewater Lakes is only 3.5 hrs from Calais. We’re just minutes from the picturesque town of Brienne le Chateaux, with its Napoleonic history, supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. Bluewater Lakes has everything for the bivvy angler who wants to either drive and survive or take advantage of our great food package.
Opened in April 2008, this stunning 25 acre site has a main lake of 14 acres with depths from 4 to 18ft. The lake is not a runs water but cannot be considered hard, our weekly catch report speaks for itself. There are 10 large well designed gravelled swims, 4 of which are doubles. In each swim there is a large unhooking mat and weigh sling, all to make your French carp fishing experience with us as comfortable as possible.
Our second 1.3 acre lake has depths of 3 to 9 ft and can also be fished on request. The lake record is 46lb but the average size is mid twenties.
Our lakes are stocked with healthy Carp weighing up to 90lb+ with an average size of around 35lb – 40lb. Our fantastic catch report speaks for itself, to keep anglers up date we publish a weekly Catch Report.
